It’s been a long time coming, but all materials from the PyCon US 2024 conference, held in Pittsburgh, are now available online. Whether you want to review the best talks you attended, catch up on any tutorials you missed, or weren’t able to attend the conference in the first place and want to see what it’s all about — you can now do so!
A comprehensive conference recap from the Python Software Foundation, including a bunch of data about the conference, attendee demographics, speakers, and more is available in PDF form here:
The PyCon US 2024 playlist on YouTube now features full videos of over 140 talks, tutorials, and other presentations from the conference. Personally, I’m re-watching the recording of Simon Willison’s keynote talk about large language models:
Simon published a fully annotated version of the slides and transcript from his talk on his blog, available here:
Keep in mind that PyCon US is coming back to Pittsburgh for a second year in May 2025! Stay tuned for opportunities to speak, attend, and volunteer as the world’s premier Python conference returns to Pittsburgh for an encore before heading to Long Beach, California, in 2026. See you there!
